REFORMER STUDIO POLICIES

Arrival Time
Our spaces are very small. There is no need to arrive any earlier than five minutes before your class. We often have classes back-to-back with just a five minute changeover time.

Class Late Cancellations
As we are a small studio, cancellations and no-shows affect us significantly. We have had to implement a strict policy to try and curb empty spaces in our already limited classes. For monthly unlimited packages, you will be automatically charged $15 plus tax if you cancel within 12 hours of a class. For packages, you will simply lose that class. You can sign in to your Momence account to modify your class selection. You MUST cancel online. Emailing or leaving a phone message is not considered cancelling. Please check the weather the day before to be sure you will be able to make it in. Thanks for understanding!

Class No-Shows
We are now implementing a separate fee for no-shows to try and curb empty spaces in our small studio. Monthly and package holders will be charged a no-show fee of $20 plus tax.

Private Session Late Cancellations

The cut-off for canceling without penalty is 12 hours notice. Within 12 hours, you will lose the full amount or credit.

Memberships may be paused for a minimum of two weeks.

All purchases are non-refundable.

Waitlist

Our waitlist has a double opt-in feature. The first person on the waitlist will receive a text when a space opens up. They will have ten minutes to confirm or decline the spot before it moves on to the second person on the list.

Class Changes

We reserve the right to cancel classes that have less than three people registered up to 4 hours before the class. The class theme or teacher may change at any time.

Beginner Policy

Beginner clients can ONLY attend beginner classes to start. This is for your safety. Regardless of your level of fitness, you need to learn how to safely move around the machines. Once you have taken at least three classes, you can speak with an instructor to see if you are able to move into other classes. This is to keep classes safe for everyone and to avoid disrupting the flow of classes for all signed up.

No crying in the studio :)

Teacher Assists

Yoga Studio Touch and Assist Policy

We strive to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students. The relationship between teacher and student is based on mutual respect and trust. One aspect of this relationship is the use of physical assists or adjustments during yoga classes. We understand that preferences regarding touch can vary greatly from person to person, and we aim to respect those individual boundaries.

The Stone System

To communicate your preferences regarding physical assists, we have introduced a Stone System. A small collection of stones will be available at the entrance of the studio before each class. If you are open to receiving hands-on adjustments during the session, please place a stone at the top corner of your yoga mat. No stone on the mat signifies that you prefer not to receive physical assists for that class.

What to Expect if You Choose to Place a Stone

Assists for Alignment: The teacher may lightly touch you to help you get into or deepen a posture.

Assists for Deepening: In some poses, the teacher might offer a gentle push or pull to help you go further.

Safety: The teacher may touch you to safely guide you in and out of postures, helping to avoid injury.

Communication

Our teachers are trained to respect your personal space and choices. Should you wish to change your decision during class, feel free to remove or place a stone on your mat at any point.

If you have particular sensitivities or injuries, we recommend communicating those to the teacher before class starts. This can further ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

General

No Perfume: Due to allergies and sensitivities, please refrain from wearing perfume or scented lotions.

Attire: Wear comfortable, breathable athletic wear.

Studio Mats: You are welcome to use our mats. Please wipe them down well after use.

No shoes: Please remove your shoes before entering the yoga studio.

Personal Items: Keep personal belongings in designated areas. The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

By attending classes, you agree to abide by these policies. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the studio. We reserve the right to change these policies at any time.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
